Snapshot Stories – Reliving The Joys Of Volunesia In Photos!

Of late, we’ve been emphasizing that the essence of Volunesia lies in its experience. There are many things we observe, which may seem insignificant at first glance, but contribute highly to the energy of the circle.

What we, at KnowYourStar, do is be mindful enough to have an eye to recognise these little things that add up to make a big difference. It is the collective power of these little things that amplify into a good experience for everyone in the circle.

And that precisely is the power of a beautiful community, and we are over the moon for having been able to create some of that magic through Volunesia.

When we thought of how to help our readers understand the feel of Volunesia, we thought of capturing these little stories with pictures, in a photo story! Here are a few –

When Venkatesh first attended a Volunesia session, he was uncertain of his skills. I’m not a very creative person,” he insisted and instead spent time helping others create their own masterpieces.

We appreciated his willingness to be an invisible hand and be of immense help to strangers, even if it meant he had no goodies to display as his own. Eventually, he was able to unleash his inner artist as the day went on and put together this quirky gem!

One of our original Volunesians, Sandeep has never missed any of our circles and we’ve been privileged to watch his artistic evolution!

The goodies he creates always have so much life and fun attached to it, we can’t wait to see the reaction of our Mentor India students when they receive these gems.

Sandeep’s creativity has rubbed off on so many participants who are always thrilled to jump in after seeing Sandeep in action!

We thought John was our most inventive artist until we met his wife, Deena! Their combined talents resulted in this stunning tree, which was literally built using materials that were lying around us. This tree and the kind notes hanging from its branches beautifully sums up our Volunesia setup under the big old tree of Cubbon Park.

We all love our Cubbon Park mornings, but these two have found a way to capture some of that beauty so that we can carry it with us, along with your stories, to schools all over the country.

Nothing brings people together more than standing united against a common injustice – in this case, it’s the great Volunesia Scissor Scarcity!

We know, we know, you need more scissors! And glue! And chart! We promise we aren’t ignoring your requests for no reason. We just think it’s wonderful how sharing these tools actually allows you all to talk and connect with each other.

One of the most special aspects of Volunesia is the community we’ve built together. Every word, smile, and laugh is a part of that. So, don’t be afraid to ask for something – who knows what you will receive! 🙂
