Thursday Email – Being Mindful Of The Stories We Read!
Namaste!
The stories that we share with you every week in our ‘Recommended links for the week’ started off as a simple sharing activity. What’s beautiful is how reading these stories sparks different things in different people.
Recently, we published a story of Anshul Aggarwal, and one of our very good friends, Sunil, reverted with a snapshot of the article saying – “This resonates with how I want to build an organisation.”
It’s lovely how certain words bring us multitude of meanings and takeaways when looked at with a different perspective. If stories have this effect on adults like you and me, then can you imagine the kind of effect positive stories can have on young kids? This is why it’s important that we share with the students the stories that inspire, that spark their creativity, that nudge them to dream bigger! We don’t know which sentence, which paragraph, which section might introduce a turning point in their lives! 🙂
Do you have any favorites from the stories we have shared with you? Or are there any stories you want to share with us? 🙂
Recommended reads for the week –
- Ashwin Karthik – Made His Own Way To Become The First Computer Engineer In India With Cerebral Palsy
- Dr. Anuradha – The Army Doctor Who Is Bringing Social Change To Khargone
With gratitude, smiles and cheers,
“And as I go along life’s way, reapin’ better than I sowed. I’m drinkin’ from my saucer, ’cause my cup has overflowed!”
