Thursday Email – #TentToAirport – Growing Wings And Learning To Fly!

Last Friday was a very special day for all of us. Why? Because we took our tent school kids on a field trip to the airport as part of the Daan Utsav – The Joy Of Giving Week. Thanks to the amazing folks at Daan Utsav, our kids got an opportunity to witness things that were larger than life for them (figuratively and literally!)
Do you remember what it was like when you saw an aeroplane for the first time? Do you remember the excitement and the awe of trying to understand the enormity of flying above the clouds in the sky? Well, our kids have only been dreaming about buses and trains, so when we told them we are taking them to airport, you can only imagine what must have followed! We wrote about the wonderful experiences our kids went through, and the joy that we derived from being a part of this truly memorable and unexpected trip… #TentToAirport – Celebrating Daan Utsav With Our Tiny Tots!
What an emotional journey this was for our team at KnowYourStar. We tried to catch a little bit of the excitement in a live video, while on the bus, because we were so eager to share the joy derived from little things that our kids teach us every single day with you! #TentToAirport is a dream come true not just for the kids, but for us as well. We never thought we would be able to expose our tiny tots to such places so soon, and we are so very grateful for this opportunity.
The kids indeed have grown wings and are now learning to fly, while we continue to fuel our dreams of enabling them to fly higher than the sky. Thank you for being the wind in our wings, always! 🙂
