Thursday Email – When The Stars From Our Book Come To Life! :)
Namaste!
Past two weeks have been beautiful owing to the fact that we got a chance to meet our role models in person, again!!! Some of them were interviewed many years ago, some were interviewed by our interns/volunteers, and some over email. But it was so great to meet many of them in person and present the Know Your Star book to them, in which they were featured.
Our role models loved reading their kid-friendly stories, and really appreciated the effort that has gone into making these books a reality. They could see the love, beauty and positivity that exudes from these books of possibilities! They have showered us with their blessings, and are supporting us to ensure that the Know Your Star series with it’s cute Khadi bag stitched by waste pickers, reaches every student in every corner of India! 🙂
Orders and gifts are trickling in with more momentum now, and we are so overjoyed. We don’t see every order, every gift as another penny in our account. Every order tells us another child has been impacted. That another dream is going to be sparked, and another world of endless possibilities is opening up for a young mind.
