Thursday Email – All About The Team Retreat And The Lemonade!

Of late, we have fallen in love with Thursdays, because we get to write to you. We hope you’re enjoying our emails.
About a week back, we had a day-long KYS team retreat. This was a team outing like no other we’ve experienced before. We only knew where we would meet in the morning for breakfast, and the rest was a Jaideep-Yatra!
From a sumptuous heart-warming breakfast at Taaza Thindi to the Bangalore Palace visit to the Circle of Reflection at Bookworm, the day was packed with unplanned getaways. There was no schedule or agenda planned for the day, and we just went with the flow. What emerged was beautiful! We wrote about it in detail here. Do give it a read!
Apart from this, we have a deeply moving story of courage for you this week. Earlier this Monday, Ashwin was back with his Truclusions, where he talked about conquering the trials that life throws at you with positive actions. This one’s special because of 2 reasons. Firstly it’s the 25th week of Ashwin’s column on KnowYourStar. Yaiyyyy! And second, the article is inspired from a roller coaster emotional ride he went through recently.
A couple of weeks back, on a Thursday evening, Ashwin was walking back home holding his walker, while his mom supported him from behind. But suddenly, he tripped and his mom helped him from a big bad fall. But with his mom’s weak back, getting him up was a Herculean task. All of this had a deep impact on Ashwin, which led him to make certain important decisions through sleepless nights. Read more about it in the article.
