Thursday Email – Introducing Volunesia In The Spirit Of Service
Namaste!
Last Saturday marked a very exhilarating experience for Team KYS. You ask why? Well, because we held space for ourfirst-ever Volunesia circle under the big old wise tree at Cubbon Park in Bangalore. As the birds chirped a happy morning song and the leaves and wind happily danced to it together, our volunteers (whom we are going to refer to as Volunesians from now on 😉 ) peacefully sat on bedsheets spread over lush green grass, and unleashed their creativity!
When someone asked us, what are the guidelines, we just winked and said – No guidelines! What emerged from this 3-hour circle was a box full of goodies that were created out of pure joy and consciousness. Team KYS was touched by the response of our first Volunesia event and decided to hold space again for this positivity, this Saturday – April 1, 2017.
Join us at9 am on this Fool’s Day and say hello to a beautiFool fresh morning! Indulge in service and help us create more personalised goodies for the rural and underprivileged kids. All the raw material available is sourced from GOONJ, who is supporting us wholeheartedly with Volunesia. These goodies will be given away as rewards during the Mentor India classes. We will also be creating ‘Thank You’ goodies for teachers and mentors!

Another unique aspect to this week’s Volunesia Circle is that Bangalore’s first Inclusion Circle Members are also going to be a part of it. We cannot wait to play host to these amazing people and add more value to the space. How wonderful!

If you don’t live in Bangalore, then please volunteer to help us spread the word to more people by forwarding this email to your contacts! Volunteering to enable others to be in service is in itself a beautiful form of service, don’t you think? We are doing whatever WE CAN and requesting you to do whatever YOU CAN. After all, like we always keep mentioning, it’s all about doing SMALL THINGS with GREAT LOVE. 🙂
